The Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center is proud to provide Vermont innovators with a new tool: the Vermont Innovation Marketplace. The innovation marketplace is a service that allows for "open innovation" with the goal of accurately and efficiently connecting buyers and sellers in the innovation marketplace.
The Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation ~ GBIC is Vermont's certified non-profit economic development corporation for Chittenden County. Since its founding in 1954, GBIC has served as a catalyst for economic opportunity in Chittenden County, assisting in the creation and retention of sustainable jobs and economic opportunities for thousands of Vermonters.
The primary goal of GBIC is the creation and retention of value-added jobs that will strengthen the region's economy and improve the quality of life for area residents. The primary economic market focus of GBIC is the region's value-added industry sectors and the region's economy-driving businesses.
