The Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation ~ GBIC is Vermont's certified non-profit economic development corporation for Chittenden County. Since its founding in 1954, GBIC has served as a catalyst for economic opportunity in Chittenden County, assisting in the creation and retention of sustainable jobs and economic opportunities for thousands of Vermonters.

The primary goal of GBIC is the creation and retention of value-added jobs that will strengthen the region's economy and improve the quality of life for area residents.
